Our pieces are made from natural fabrics such as cotton, cotton-linen blends, and pure linen. Proper care will help your garments maintain their shape, colour, and longevity.
Washing
- Hand wash is recommended to preserve the fabric.
- If using a washing machine, select a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water.
- Use a mild, colour-safe detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals, which can weaken fibers and affect colour.
- Do not soak for long periods, especially for dark or vibrant colours, to prevent fading.
- Wash dark and light colours separately to avoid colour transfer.
Drying
- Do not wring the garment. Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Lay flat on a clean towel or hang away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or distortion.
- Avoid tumble drying, as heat can shrink or damage natural fibers.
Ironing
- Iron on low to medium heat, preferably while the garment is slightly damp.
- Turn the garment inside out to protect the surface of the fabric.
- For linen or linen-blend items, a steam iron may be used to remove wrinkles effectively.
Storage
- Store garments in a cool, dry place.
- Keep fabrics away from direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent fading.

Natural Fabric Characteristics
- Shrinkage: Natural fabrics like cotton and linen may shrink slightly after the first few washes.
- Texture changes: Linen and cotton-linen blends may soften and develop a natural texture with wear.
- Minor imperfections: Small irregularities, variations in colour, weave, or thread are natural characteristics of these fabrics and part of their charm.
- Colour fading: Slight fading over time is normal and does not indicate a defect. Proper washing and storage can help minimize this.
